Dr. Andrew Satinsky is a radiation oncologist at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital and the clinical director of the Radiation Oncology Center at MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital Center.
Specializing in prostate and lung cancer, he uses the latest radiation therapy techniques, including proton therapy, IMRT/IGRT, CyberKnife SRS/SBRT, and brachytherapy. Dr. Satinsky is active in research and helps train future doctors as chair of the Radiation Oncology Residency Program Clinical Competency Committee. He also leads the Cancer Committee at MedStar Southern Maryland.

My deepest gratitude goes to Dr. Satinsky's for the exceptional care I received! He is truly the kind of doctor every patient hopes to find. Beyond the immaculate and welcoming atmosphere of his office, it was Dr. Satinsky's genuine attentiveness that made all the difference. He didn't rush through the appointment; he took his time to truly listen to my story, demonstrating a level of empathy and understanding that is rare. His insightful questions revealed a deep commitment to understanding my specific needs. He then expertly explained each step of the process, explaining everything clear and concise patiently! Dr. Satinsky saved my life. I was having a bad experience at one of the facilities where he was working. He calmed me down and suggested another faility would work better for me and IT DID!!
