amazing compassionate doc

really knows his stuff!

I went to see Dr. Sauder for some lesions on my face and back. He entered the examining room and from across the room he declared that he saw nothing wrong with my face. Really? How about taking a closer look Doc!. Sure enough there were several solar keratosis that he had to burn off. He then took a look at my back and took a biopsy. He spent maybe a total of 5 minutes with me and sent me on my way. Hey Doc - how about, you have a patient in your examining room with some suspicious lesions - maybe you want to take a look at the rest of my body? Nope, I was hurried out and told he would call me with the biopsy results. A few days later I get a voice message from Dr. Sauder asking me to call him. I called back and got the answering service. I leave a message to call me. Two days go by, no return call. I call back and get whom I assume was a receptionist (they did not identify who they were). I said I was returning Dr. Sauder's call about biopsy results and she read them to… me over the phone, informing me it was a basal cell lesion - WTH??? Isn't that HIS responsibility to inform me??? Ended-up at Fox Chase for treatment where I was given a COMPLETE HEAD to TOE evaluation for other lesions by a physician who spend 20 or 30 minutes examining me and discussing treatment options. My advice - if you have something or suspect something serious, don't mess around with suburban dermatology. Go to the experts.
