Dr. Daniel Schwartz is a board-certified ophthalmologist and cornea specialist who focuses on refractive cataract surgery, corneal disease, and the medical and surgical treatment of corneal pathology. He offers the latest refractive cataract surgery techniques and premium intraocular lens options designed to help patients achieve the clearest vision possible. In addition to cataract care, Dr. Schwartz provides comprehensive ophthalmic care with expertise in dry eye management and other conditions affecting the cornea and external eye.

Education and Training:

Dr. Schwartz earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Duke University before completing medical school and ophthalmology residency at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia, where he was born and raised. He then pursued advanced fellowship training in Cornea and External Disease at Tufts University and Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston in Boston, Massachusetts.

Dr. Schwartz has been practicing in the greater Boston area since 2018 and joined Boston Eye Physicians and Surgeons in 2020. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Schwartz enjoys basketball, soccer, hiking, scuba diving, and traveling with his family.
