Dr. Daniel Lewis Skubick, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Skubick for many years. For me, he has always been a supremely skilled, empathetic, and dedicated doctor who thoroughly understands both chronic and permanent, debilitating pain issues. He is a caring healer and advocate for his patients. I have referred a person very close to me to see him for his own issues. We who know him agree that he is without peer, the best doctor for neurological and pain treatment/management issues you could ever hope to find. I must also commend Carol and Rob, Dr. Skubick's longtime support team, for their expert, gentle, and caring guidance. Thank you, Ad astra per aspera.

I am thrilled that I found Dr. Skubick. He has a great "bedside manner". He helped me find a little relief in my back after years and years of excruciating pain! I will recommend him to everyone I know that may possibly be helped by him!

Dr Skubick is Top of the line Dr. I have been his Patient for 10 yrs. I have Cerebral Palsy and Chronic Body Pain Associated with Spinal Cord issue. You absolutely can not go wrong with Dr Skubick. My current issue is that he dose not accept Medi-cade insurance. Dr Skubick over the years has answered all of my fears, he answered in English and did not make my feel dumb with the questions I asked. That is the most important issue of all to me. He treats me like a human even when scared. That is so rare, I thank God for him over the span of 10 yrs. If you need to ever see a Neurologist for a Spinal Cord injury or don't really know what is wrong with your back and are Scared go see him. Oh yeah, when I started seeing him as a patient I could barely walk and taking stairs were just excruciating and painful now I can bend my legs again....He is an absolute Top Notch certified Ace, you absolutely can not go wrong with him. As far as I'm concerned u can't find a better and more caring doctor if u tried .. He's helped me more times than I know a doctor wud normally do but he's the best and I wish more doctors were like him, He explains everything is going to do and why he's doing it..I myself hope he never ever retires but thats just me.. I know he has alot of other patients that feel the same way I do.. His staff is the best and his nurses r the greatest..I guess with my record of 18 years I can testify he's the best and has never steered me wrong. He is the most caring and helpful doctor I know.!!! I'm so grateful that I have him for my doctor!

The weekly treatments this doctor provides can be painful BUT I've been seeing him for over a year and the decrease in pain and stiffness is AMAZING! I have not been pain free most of my life but his treatments have made my life SO MUCH better.

Dr. Skubick is a very good doctor. Is thorough in making you understand what he is doing. Has a great bedside manner. Takes the time to talk to you. Is there to help you as best he can. Very hard to find a doctor like him in today's world. Very lucky to have found him.

Dr. Skubick is a wonderful man, compassionate, caring, excellent bedside manner, skills & extensive experience in his field. I'd highly recommend his care.

I chose Dr. Skubick on my own due to his close proximity to my home and his years of experience in his field.He was not referred by my Primary Care Physician. I initially saw him for an EMG to determine extent of nerve damage in right leg. Results were vague. I showed the doctor my MRI indicating a herniated disk. He said it was minor. I also told him I had a case of Shingles(Herpes Zoster) about a year ago. He said my case was "complicated" because of this but was quite sure that the nerve pain was a result of the Shingles and subsequent PHN(Post Herpetic Neuralgia). At this point he prescribed Lyrica at a low dose of 100MG and gradually titrated in 25MG increments every 10 days which became difficult to manage. His nurse was continually frustrated and unkind every time I would call to discuss my progress or lack thereof. She would not let me talk to Dr. Skubick and indicated he does not return phone calls. I could only meet with him by appointment. I expressed my frustration with the… continued nerve pain even with the increased dosages of Lyrica. He then changed his diagnosis after he miss-diagnosed me and recommended a "pain specialist" for an epidural nerve root block injection. Again, no effect. He then suggested additional injections and continued use of Lyrica and incredibly a neurosurgeon, which I declined because of my lack of confidence in his continued treatment of my "complicated case" At my last appt. he decided to discharge me from his care. I am presently still dealing with my nerve pain. In conclusion I would suggest careful analysis in evaluating Neurologists of this kind especially ones that are not prepared to treat "complicated cases".

I have been going to Dr, Skubick for a number of years. He is very knowledgeable. His diagnosis have been accurate always. It is nice that a doctor takes the time to listen to you and actually care.
