Dr. Daniel Slater, MD

I have never had a doctor listen this well, and he obviously cares a lot about his patients. His schedule is pretty much always booked quite a while out, but even so, I've had pretty good luck getting in for "emergency" visits. I feel he's the best doctor I've ever had, and he spends quite a bit of time with me on my appointments. Due to his busy schedule with teaching, he had to reduce the number of patients he sees. I feel he has helped me immensely in the last 6 years, and I am forever grateful to him.

Dr. Slater came to check in with me on his resident's performance BEFORE delivering my follow-up care plan and prescriptions. After finding that my prescriptions had not been filled, I asked to speak with him but was told he had "left the building". 20 minutes later as I left my appointment, prescription-less after reporting level 8 pain, I watched him walk out of the building with me. Will be heading to Sharp with my health problems since UCSD can't be bothered.
