Summary
Daniel B. Snead, D.M.D.
Daniel Bryan Snead graduated from Auburn University in 1966 where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree. He then attended dental school at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, graduating in 1970 as a board-qualified orthodontist. After two years of practicing dentistry with the U.S. Army at Fort Knox, he returned to Birmingham to specialize in orthodontics, receiving his degree in 1974. He has been practicing here in Tallahassee for 34years.
Dr. Snead was drawn to the field of dentistry at an early age. His aunt was married to Dr. Olin Kirkland, who founded the field of periodontics. Together, they taught this revolutionary new procedure at dental schools all over the world.
The specialty of orthodontics was appealing to Dr. Snead because it would allow him to spend more time with his patients, resulting in a lasting friendship as well as a healthy and beautiful smile. Quality care in an office with high integrity is the goal he wishes to achieve in …his practice.
When designing our office building, the architect asked the purpose of the building. Dr. Snead's reply was "to have an office where people will not only feel a part of our orthodontic family, but look forward to their visits here." He has certainly achieved this goal!
Dr. Snead has served as President of the Leon County Dental Association. He is also a member of the following professional organizations:
American Association of Orthodontists
American Dental Association
Southern Society of Orthodontists
Florida Society of Multiracial Orthopedics
NW District Dental Society

Ensuring Data Transparency and Trust: A Guide to Vitals Doctor Listings and Reviews
Our provider data is gathered directly from physicians and publicly available databases. Providers who verify their profiles gain the ability to update information, offering additional details about their specialties, education, treated conditions, performed procedures, and accepted insurances.
Reviews on Vitals are submitted by users only. Recognizing the valuable insights these reviews offer into a doctor's reputation, we maintain internal policies and protocols to ensure the quality and accuracy of all reviews. Importantly, providers cannot delete or alter reviews independently. Reviews can only be deleted or changed following an internal assessment by our customer service team.
Your feedback is highly valued and we encourage you to contact our support team should you encounter any issues.
