Dr. Daniel Garrett Snediker, MD

Dr. Snediker saw me in the Emergency Department when I was in the middle of a workup for a chronic medical problem that was as-yet undiagnosed and undifferentiated. He saw me twice over two months -- my misfortune to have him on in the ED both times. The second time he saw me, he berated me for coming to the ED for what was a more chronic issue, skipped a physical exam (but documented it in his note, which my private doctor showed me: this is illegal) and left me in tears. I understand that EDs are inundated with patients who may, or may not, need to be there; however, a little bit more effort to at least pretend to care would take him a long way. I hope that I just caught him on a bad day. I do think he is intelligent and could probably be a very good doctor to somebody, but on that day, he was not a good doctor to me.
