i had a recent visit with dr soffer at the perelman center in pa dr soffer takes the time needed to explain his diagnosis and explains thoroughly why he feels any meds are needed to help with issues. he is a caring knowledgeable cardiologist.

I found Doctor Soffer to have very poor Bed Side Manners, and an Ego bigger than a Mountain, Additionally: he has no Interest in discussing at any length any concerns I had, and I was left with the Distinct impression that he was Insulted when I simply ask he a question regarding my Blood Test Values. he was very short and rude when he responded to any of my questions I dreaded having to go see him. very unfriendly not at all Affable in the least. subject matter he must have missed class the day at medical school when that Subject matter was taught.

I just wanted to say how great of a Doctor he is! I have been going to him for 15 years....and I really try not to see him much..( I don't like Doctors!)..I had to go for poison ivy today!!....But he just listens and is really nice! Great person and Doctor....easy going.

Dr. Soffer understands the symptoms of illness and knows when to get tests to pinpoint a problem so that it can be treated. He listens to my concerns about my health and wellbeing. The advice he gives is sound and reasonable. I trust and respect him because he is an honest person and an intelligent doctor.

Dr. Soffer is an excellent diagnostician. He is an extremely well-schooled, knowledgeable individual. He makes the patient feel comfortable and is personable. *His nurse, Ellen, is also very personable and helpful.

I've been seeing Dr. Soffer for 3 and 1/2 years. I've put up with long wait, the un-friendly service, but when he insulted me and my medical condition I decided to change doctors immediately. In my last visit, he insisted on projecting many of his personal views, and that of his wifes (totally irrelevant to a patient) re: my medical condition. He continued by telling me about his sister-in-laws own legal pursuit against a drug that he put me on. So obviously, he has his own motives against the drug. Then decided to attack me and my medical condition. He was extremely unprofessional and down right rude. Not only will I NEVER see Dr. Soffer again, but I would never recommend him to anyone.
