Dr. Daniel Raymund Sparks, MD

Dr. Sparks was very nice, and answered all my questions. I was scared and hurting so badly, but his staff was so sweet and caring. My big problems were 1) my osteoporosis was not considered at all. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have wasted 2 weeks in a cast grinding bones together, and 2) when the final result left my hand-to-wrist crooked, I was told that I needed to do the therapy and give it time to let all the swelling go down. I did weeks of therapy and it didn’t change. Finally, I was told that it could just be broken and start over. I’d been through weeks of pain at that point. Therapy wasn’t changing anything and I didn’t have the money or the pain threshold to handle “breaking it to fix it”.

Dr. Sparks did a great job with my surgery. I was not happy with my discharge from the hospital and I was not informed about the recovery process nor what to expect. His office staff was not cooperative with the times I was able to see him and his system in refilling prescriptions is very difficult. As a surgeon I give him excellent marks as a doctor in his office, I feel the wait time to be seen is out of reason, and the felexiblity to obtain the next appointment is difficult.

Dr. Sparks is a great doctor but the wait time is way too long and his front office staff is loud and unprofessional acting.

Dr. Sparks was wonderful with my Mom when she broke her hip. He was very reassuring and explained the surgery thoroughly. He also took time to explain what we (the family) and Mom should expect post-surgery.
