Dr. Daniel Jon Spencer

I truly enjoy my work as a dentist. Here at our practice, we truly are a "family." Our team and our patients help make our practice an exciting, friendly, and fun place to be. We strive to provide the best possible care for our patients through continuing education, personal and team growth, and mastery of leading edge technology. It's wonderful for me, having the opportunity to meet so many great people each day, and to know that I am helping them achieve a beautiful smile. I'm so proud to welcome you to our practice - we're always smiling, laughing, and having fun here, and I hope that you will too!
Education
I am originally from Raleigh, North Carolina, and I attended the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill where I received my Bachelor of Science degree and certificate in dental hygiene. I went on to receive my Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts.
Having received a high quality education, I like to …focus my energy on providing a gentle approach to treatment so that my patients feel more relaxed and excited about receiving dental care. I love helping patients improve and maintain their dental health, and know that their self-esteem and overall physical health will greatly benefit from the care I provide.
Continuing Education
I regularly take continuing education courses in order to stay current with the latest dental technology. This is my commitment to my patients, so they can trust that they will always receive the most advanced care possible.
I am a member of the American Dental Association, the Washington State Dental Association, and the Pierce County Dental Association. Over the years, I have been honored to receive recognition in my field by receiving the Quintessence Award for Academic Achievement in 2006, and a certificate of recognition for clinical excellence in implant restorations from the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
Outside of the practice…
I enjoy spending time with my husband, Dr. Dan Spencer, and our two cocker spaniels, Daisy and Porter. I also like traveling, scuba diving, taking my dogs hiking, watching movies, and spending time with my family and friends. I love trying new foods and ethnic cuisine from around the world - so if you know of anywhere good, let me know!
