Daniel Stagg III III, MD

Dr Stagg was a full thorough medical practitioner and listened to my concerns while and made a plan of treatment to find these answered concerns. I left Dr Stagg being very personable and his professional demeanor made me very comfortable along experienced with his medical knowledge.

Took the time to explain everything and the why we're doing it. Answered questions.

He asked Comprehensive questions over my medical history. He was very friendly and helped me feel at ease.

Make sure you confirm his "sedation philosophy" before you receive a colonscopy from him. I met him the day of the procedure (after the prep), where he explained to me that there are risks inherent in using sedation. I've had numerous colonoscopies and never had this come up. I told him I'd sign a waiver or whatever, but no dice. I have no known issues or complications with sedation or anesthesia. Had I known his "philosophy" beforehand, I would have gotten up and left. I cried through most of the procedure it was so painful. I'm now years overdue for my next one it scarred me so much. I'm not going to see him ever again, and I'm definitely not going back to Scott and White. Horrible experience!

This man now works at S & W in College Station, TX. Beware! He does not have an ounce of compassion in him. He treated my 70 year old, 98 lb. mother like she was an inconvenience to his day! I have never seen a doctor with less bed side manner than this man showed...Steer Clear!

Office staff is disorganized and lacks the communication necessary for the doctor to make an educated decision. Some nurses are rude, incompetent, apathetic, and have no business working in patient care. My experience references a nurse that acted as attending physician and refused to take my full information and questions to the doctor, even with my vehement insistence. Doctor has God complex and becomes angry with patient when information is not communicated by office staff.

He repeated things I had said back to me incorrectly, indicating that he did not listen carefully. He asked no relevant questions in an attempt to diagnose the problem. He appeared interested only in the high-profit colonocopy and endoscopy procedures that his clinic offers. Other medical professionals have indicated to me that I am not the first patient to be unimpressed with him. When I asked to move to a different doctor within the practice he was very slow to release me. After ordering a CT-scan, he refused to meet with me to discuss the results unless I would come in for another procedure which I had already said I was not prepared to do.
