Dr. Daniel Tavelinsky is proud to provide exceptional dental care to the residents of Westchester and Putnam counties.
Dr. Tavelinsky is a graduate of SUNY at Stony Brook, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree with a dual major of Psychology and History.  Having a passion for the medical sciences and skillful dexterity, he felt the Dental profession was the perfect choice.  He received his Doctorate in Medical Dentistry from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA and continued his education by completing two years of residency at the Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in Jamaica Queens, NY.  Typically a one year program, Dr. Tavelinsky was asked by the heads of the department to stay an additional year as Chief Resident.  He continues to foster his relationship with the hospital by volunteering as an Attending Doctor for the residency program.  By helping to train the newly graduated …doctors, he fortifies his existing dental expertise and keeps up to date on new trends.
Dr. Tavelinsky believes in the importance of expanding his skills and dental knowledge by completing numerous hours of continuing education.  He is an active member in several dental organizations including the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, The Empire State Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, New York State Dental Association and locally with the Endodontic Study Club of Westchester, and he is past President of the Peekskill/Yorktown Dental Society. 
His dedication to his profession was recognized when he was awarded a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry.  An honor held by less than 5% of all dentists in the United States.  This commitment ensures you the highest level of care, both today and tomorrow.
Dr. Tavelinsky has also been selected for inclusion in the publications Guide to America's Top Dentists,  National Implant Directory, The Best of the U.S., and Madison’s Who’s Who.
Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife Adrienne, and their young sons Alexander and Dylan.  He resides in Yorktown Heights with his family and enjoys the community and all it has to offer.  His hobbies include swimming, racquetball and spending time with friends.
