Dr. Daniel Yuwen Teng, MD

Dr. Teng was my Primary Care Doctor for over a decade; he still would be if I had not relocated to Humboldt County, CA. I cannot speak highly enough of this Physician. He saw me though good times and bad; he rode the roller coaster called Life with me, every step of the way. "You don't know what you've got, until it's  gone”.  No truer lyrics have ever been put to music. Dr. Teng was a wealth of medical knowledge and experience and his ears worked perfectly. He also possesed that special quality of reading between the lines, and would get me to open up. He is, what I still consider to be, an old-school family Physician. He cared about each facet that makes me, ME.  You cannot put a price on genuine quality of care like that, it is invaluable! And I measure every Medical Professional by his example and that standard since I left his care. Have we invented a reliable time-machine yet? Dr. Daniel Teng is the real thing. I will be forever grateful he found and pursued his true calling in… the medical field. Dr. Teng saved my life more than once and my only child is grateful to him for that! (sometimes, anyway…darn kids…).

Doesn't listen at all Doesn't respond to the emails either What is he good for?

Been seeing Dr. Teng for about 2 years now and I cannot ignore the bad any longer. He is unresponsive, doesn't want to refer you to specialists and doesn't take any concern seriously. He does offer a lot of unsolicited advice. Cannot recommend, you won't get better seeing him.

Doesn’t bother listening to you Ignores every concerning thing you say No wonder he’s divorced (unprofessional to say I know but I don’t care anymore) Please consider another doctor who actually values your life and treats you like a human being than another patient he has to deal with.

Dr. Teng has been my PCP for many years now. He returns messages promptly. I developed trigger finger requiring a steroid injection for pain relief and was also due for a routine checkup, and he was able to schedule both appointments back to back so I didn't have to make multiple trips to the clinic. I wish he was able to increase my Lorazepam dosage because sometimes life is really, really tough. But that's Kaiser's fault, not his.
