Dr. Thistlewaite is a pleasant and professional. He tries to help me in every way possible. I feel blessed to be his patient.

An excellent doctor for many years, then diagnosed me and insisted I stay on medicine that did me more harm than good. It is not on my allergic list. BE AWARE. If you give a poor review, expect to be blacklisted by other psychiatrists in the area. I have been turned down 5 times since my first review. Dr. D. Thistlethwaite ranges from 5 stars to 1 star (depending on his mood and level of physical pain. Question: how much control do doctors have over Angie's list? Can they have reviews deleted. I will look again for my first review.

I have been a patient with Dr. Thistlethwaite for over a decade and have recently moved to a different state and do not know what to do to replace him. He has always been very kind, listens so well, caring, and takes the time to make sure all is well before you walk out of his office. I have lost both of my children in tragic deaths in the past 5 years and he has helped me with dealing with this and other issues that started my depression that extended from work. I just don't know how to replace him with another Doctor.

Dr. Thistlewaite is awesome..his staff not so much. Tried to change an appointment but was told that even though it was 3 days before appointment I would be charged $200 and wouldn't be able to get another appointment until I paid that. I guess instead of making patients lives easier and less stressful the staff believes in making it more so.
