Dr. Daniel Stephen Thomas, MD

I was seeing Dr. Thomas for over and year and had been on onions and multi other medications over this time period. Some of the medication had the potential for abdication and or several side effectz. I was worried about these issue and started using marijuana to supplement for some of the more dangerous drugs. I told Dr. Thomas this, and that I did not want any more pain meds from him. He said that was fine and would continue treating me. About a week after the visit my appointment was cancelled with no notification and then I was sent a letter in the mail saying I was discharged because I violated their policy. That is true and is not my issue. Dr. Thomas said to my face he has no problem with using the marijuana instead of the other drugs and would continue to treat me. Then I get discharged with out a call or message from him explaining the situation. This was cowardice and lacking in integrity. He made me believe he actually cared about me and my well being, which was obviously… not the case. This was my situation, so anyone reading judge for yourself, but this is a prime example of doctors no longer caring about their patients, we are just numbers to work through.
