Dr. Daniel Joseph Tierney, MD

He responds after several weeks of waiting. Dr. Tierney knew my kidneys were failing, 2 years before I became a Stage 5 but still chose not to do anything because he thought I was a similar case to another patient. After a surgery I was needing my kidneys worsened, guess his medical opinion was wrong. This doctor is not considered one of the best but the WORST! Appointments, you have to wait 2 months for a reschedule. There are many more other nephrologists to find other than this one. If you want you to save your kidneys, I would suggest finding someone else.

I have been seeing Daniel for several years and have found him to be a very knowledgeable, professional and caring Doctor. I have recommended him to my wife now that she needs the services of a Nephrologist. I can’t imagine seeing any other Doctor for my Nephrology care.

after many MANY years of visiting this doctor, when I asked a question outside of a visit (which I have only done a handful of times in all these years), I was brushed off and dropped like yesterday’s garbage. I honestly don’t understand why some doctors are actually doctors if they don’t care about their patients or even their well-being. I am truly appalled and disappointed to know that I entrusted my health with this person for so many years, but it seems all along I was just a number and some dollar signs. oh, and yes I got a call back regarding my question, but it wasn’t adequately or even completely answered.
