Top notch. Knowledgeable, respectable, and courteous. Highly recommend if you have a choice in surgeon!

My appointment was at 10 and I sat and waited for two hours. Once he came in all I wanted to do is punch h in the face.

Dr. Vargas performed two surgeries for me this past year (2013). He is very knowledgable and good at explaining things to where his patients can understand. He is also very good at answering questions that I may have before and after surgery. In addition, his staff and receptionist (Jill) are very friendly and courteous. I highly recommend Dr.Vargas!

I found him to be one of the BEST Doctor's that I have ever had. He took the time to explain everything to me, He reassured me that all would be okay with my surgery. In fact, i could have went home the same day, but family advised me to stay a night. I would give my life for this man, he in fact saved mine to give. I tell everyone I know about him, and tell them, you need surgery, this is the guy to go to.

I met Dr. Vargas through the ER. Waiting time from diagnosis to OR was less than 60 minutes; amazing. He clearly explained the nature of my condition and what was going to be done during surgery.The day following my surgery he actually came to check on me in the hospital. My regular surgeon of 9+ months never once did this for me. It was a thoughtful and caring gesture, one that I wish more surgeons would do. He has amazing bedside manner.I called the clinic with some post-op questions and calls were promptly returned by his staff (which is a hard thing to come by these days). I was able to get a work release the same day I requested it.Follow-up was great.I highly recommend this surgeon.
