Dr. Daniel Evan Viders, MD

Dr Viders and his staff were extremely professional. The care was. first rate. The staff made all my after care plans and reduced my stress. Additionally, Dr Viders called me after hours to check on my progress, excellent care.

I visited Dr. Viders on June of 2016 at his RI office. He was the 4th dermatologist I had seen that year in search of a cause, diagnosis and treatment of the follicular cysts and erosions that suddenly appeared all over my face. Of the 4 doctors I had seen that year, he was the only one that was willing to help me find the root of the problem and that was willing to advocate for me with the Insurance company to cover the cost of the treatments that I would need to restore my facial skin to its normal condition. I did not return because the administrative staff were rude and dismissive during my visit. They also kept calling me at my place of work daily for two weeks demanding $66.00 payment that my insurance did not pay. I kept telling them that they were supposed to bill the $66.00 to my second insurance, but they kept insisting that I make the payment to them first, and then submit reimbursement from my second insurance. I said that it was their job to do that, not mine. I also… informed them that next time they call me about this matter, they would be speaking to my attorneys. That seemed to have settled matter once and for all with the admin staff. However, because of this unfortunate situation, I never went back to see Dr. Viders. This issue with the admin staff was very disappointing to me since I really wanted to be a patient of Dr. Viders. He was the only doctor that gave me straight answers and seemed honestly interested in helping me. Since then, I've seen three other dermatologists that misdiagnosed my condition. My face is now worst than ever with erosions on my eyebrows, lips and scalp. The rest of my face is disfigured with scars necessitating of plastic surgery which WON'T be covered by my insurance.

I am a 35 year old male. I had to wait three weeks for my appointment. I went to see Dr. Viders for a full skin scan. My previous dermatologist. Dr Roberts in Worcester had done skin scans on me for the last few years. Unfortunately she stopped taking my insurance. So I had to find a new dermatologist. Normally this procedure takes about 20 mins. where they check the whole body for skin problems. And they are pretty thorough. Dr Viders came in and immediate asked me so where are the problem area's you are concerned about. He didn't say hop up on the table and start checking my body from head to toe. I said excuse me. He repeated come on come on where are the problem area's. I said I am here for a full skin scan. I had some moles I wanted looked at and a plantar's wart on my foot. He looked at my back for less then a min and said who told you that you needed to worry about the moles on your back and I said my last dermatologist said she wanted to keep an eye out on the.… "She usually looks at them with a magnifier glass and measures them. He had a magnified glass but didn't use it. He just said they look fine I wouldn't touch them. I said OK aren't you going to check them. He said I just did they are fine. He was Rude and Impatient when he said this. I then showed him my foot. He said that is not a not a wart. It looks like a callus. I said I have been putting the freeze away on it for a month and it is still there. He said well if it comes back book another appointment and I will take care of it. I said to him again. This was the main reason besides the skin scan that I came to see you. He said well if it becomes a problem come back. I said it is still there after a month so it's a problem. He said well if it is still a problem in a few weeks come back and see me. I can't believe I got charged for a full skin scan to see him for a total of litterally less then 5 mins. He had no bedside manner. He was pretty rude. Stuck up.He talked down to me. He didn't help me at all or see if there was any other skin concerns. When I arrived I was 15 mins early but I didn't get seen for a half hour after my original appointment time. There also was a guy in the lobby arguing with the staff saying he didn't want to pay for something that the doctor had told him he wouldn't charge him for and then it showed up on his bill. The doctor came out and was very rude to him and said I will resolve your issue. I wouldn't recommend this Dr or there office to anyone. Very disappointing.

I was seen three times by a physician's assistant and Dr. Viders office who had misdiagnosed my aggressive basal cell carcinoma when finally the basal cell carcinoma started to bleed I insisted upon seeing a doctor and I did and I was told that I had cancer I had a horrific Moes surgery that left me with 138 stitches in my nose . When the physicians assistant found out that he misdiagnosed me all he could say is well I don't have the experience that Dr. Viders has . If I had been diagnosed earlier I would not have the scaring and disfigurement I have today . I never even was told I'm sorry or and follow up calls.

I had read a few unflattering things online about Dr. viders, but I found his staff to be lovely, courteous and attentive. I got a really quick appointment, I didn't have to wait when I got there, Dr. Viders was professional but very pleasant. He answered my whole list of questions with no rush, and did the procedure that needed to be done. I was satisfied with all his answers and I would highly recommend him.

I have seen Dr. Viders about six time now and he has always helped me with my cystic acne with cortisone shots. His office also does laser which im going to do in the future. I have been going here for five years now and some recent changes have made the office a lot better.
