Dr. Walker has been a dentist in Kona for the last 25 years. He graduated from UOP Dental School with honors in 1985. Prior to that, he graduated from UCLA with a psychobiology degree. He is proud to have been recently honored by his peers as a top dentist in the state of Hawaii and, he was also distinguished as a best dentist in the annual West Hawaii Today polling.
Dr. Walker is known for his gentle painless dental treatments, and his office is very up to date with the latest dental technologies to enhance dental treatments. Dr. Walker strives to gain your trust and confidence by having the best dental team, being on-time, and offers the latest technologies to make dental care easier, faster and more comfortable.
Dr. Walker and his wife Cathi have two wonderful teenage children. One of his loves is to watch them playing sports. Dr. Walker has served as the team dentist for the local high school and contributes by providing professional sports mouth guards. Sierra's love of dentistry began in high school when at age 15, she began working part time as an assistant in her home town of Beaumont, Texas. She continued her love affair by making Dental Hygiene her college career choice. In 2011, she celebrates her 40th year as a practicing Dental Hygienist. Her choice to become involved in her professional organization resulted in her serving as President of both the Texas and Hawaii Dental Hygienists' Associations. She has called Hawaii home since 1986 and when she's not cleaning teeth and helping others maintain their oral health, you might catch her singing as a soprano soloist with the Kona Music Society or performing in Kona community theatre. She is at home in Ka'u with her husband, Marshall, 2 dogs, 3 cats, 3 fish and one turtle -Fernie- who has been a family pet for 32 years.
