Dr. Daniel Hugh Walters, MD

Dr. Walters has a way of talking to you with compassion. Explains things to you. Some doctors I have seen treat you with no emotional connection as if your just another face in a assembly line of patients they have to see. Is he perfect ? No. The wait is forever to see him. But the nurses were great. If you had a question they would find out from him that day and call back. You did not get a answering service like Some places and get a return call the next day. They took care of your issue immediately.

I have been seeing Dr. Walters for over 15 years. After having spent much of my career around doctors/ surgeons. I must say, Dr. Walters is outstanding. You may wait a while, but it's worth it. He spends as long as necessary, his diagnosis or spot on, his referrals have always been outstanding.

I would never have my son or family ever return to his practice. It was the most sorrowful experience of our lives. My son's life has not been the same medically, and he has little faith in doctors and their ability to make good and TRUTHFUL decisions. I regret ever using him as our family doctor, it almost cost my son his life. I would pray that he never has to experience in his life what we have had to.

I appreciate how thorough Dr. Walters is when caring for myself, my husband, and my son. He recognized my son's rapid head growth at an early age and had us get his head scanned. Sure enough, he had hydrocephalus. He has been my PCP for 15 years and I've always felt that he's had my families best interest at heart!

After two visits to my Dr. I was still not redirected or told a diagnose and was given no direction. I went to another Doctor and the result was that I was walking around on a fractured leg for 4 weeks. This delay in care has caused major problems for me.

I've been a patient of Dr walters for over a decade. I originally chose him from a list of Dr's near me who were in my network at the time. WOW !! I lucked out. When I first started seeing him I was also seeing Psychiatrist & Psychologist. If you've ever needed mental health treatment you know how tough it is to get good help. Ultimately, I found that Dr Walters was a better resource for phsychotherapy drugs than several "shrinkers" who made me crazy-er!!! My life has been so much better since all my eggs are in Dr Walters' basket. He knows his drugs & takes EXCELLENT care of my body and psyche. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Walters is an amazing doctor, but if you are going to the family clinic, BE SURE YOU HAVE AMAZING INSURANCE because they will charge you for more things than required, test for unneeded items, and the lab testing is VERY, VERY, EXPENSIVE. I would suggest a different clinic, if possible.
