Dr. Daniel L Ward, DO

When dr. Ward suddenly closed his practice I had an appointment scheduled for the next week and had to go to the hospital emergency room. That is where I learned he was no longer in practice.(I was never actually contacted by their office to cancel my appointment or say the office was closed). I was never able to get my records and still am not able to get my records although I have had serious medical issues before seeing him and after so needed my records

I would give even less if it would let me. I only found out he was going out of business cuz we happened to stop in for a script refill. I've had numerous back surgeries so my records r vital to me so I asked for them right there. He refused, of course, said I had to go by the book & get my next GP to request them. Well I've been doing that going on something like 5, I think YEARS now, every Dr for ANY speciality I see puts NUMEROUS requests in to him. I have to go to my hometown to possibly bury my Uncle & I MUST have those records I called him, spoke directly to him, gave him plenty of time cuz now he says my records r in his STORAGE in Denver!! WHY??!!! Seriously, how hard is it to hand over, or simply pass along someone's freakin records!!

Going out of business without notifying patients? Why?
