Dr. Daniel Allen Wittersheim, MD

This is the worst physician I have ever encountered. If you have Medicaid, find someone who will not treat you as inferior. He performed no physical examination, offered no explanation of my X-rays or MRI, and conducted no soft-tissue testing after my injury. He was openly irritated. At thirty-nine, diagnosed with severe arthritis, I received zero guidance on prognosis, management, or possible interventions. Workers’ Compensation paid him to rule out a work-related injury. He entered the room already annoyed, questioned why I was there, and claimed nothing was wrong—despite his own notes and those of his colleagues stating otherwise. He does not care. I would never allow him to operate on me; the absence of any published surgical success rates speaks for itself. The entire office treats Medicaid patients as disposable. He spent almost no time with me, never touched me, ordered inadequate tests, dismissed my occupational injury, and looked at me as if my presence were an imposition.

I had my right hip replaced by Dr. Wittersheim, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. He did an amazing job, and I am now completely pain-free. From my surgery through my recovery, I felt confident that I was in excellent hands. Everyone in his office was wonderful—professional, caring, friendly, and always helpful. I truly appreciate the outstanding care I received and would highly recommend Dr. Wittersheim to anyone needing hip replacement surgery.

My office visit with Dr Wittersheim was a complete success. He was able to quickly diagnose me with arthritic changes in my hip, where I was given an injection for my pain. We discussed hip replacement in the future.. He was very knowledgeable, kind, and very thorough with his evaluation. He and his nurse Susan make you feel welcome for the time you walk until you. Thanks to both of you.

De has a really bad experience with this doctor, just after the 2nd appointment he was rude since the moment that he walked un the room, he was looking upset or mad and didnt help at all that he didnt even check the patient. I do not recommend him

Dr Wittersheim was very professional and seems extremely knowledgeable. I am early in my treatment but the staff has been helpful and very professional.

I enjoy going to Dr. Wittersheim’s office in Pascagoula, the staff set an appointment promptly, they all treat you with respect and are very friendly. Dr. Wittersheim is very experienced and knowledgeable, he has performed my surgeries in the past successfully and I know he will in the future, I trust him.

I received an appointment within a few days after I called . I did not wait long in the waiting room before I was called and was treated kindly and with respect by all that worked there. Dr Wittersheim was very caring and explained everything that I should expect and gave me confidence my problem could be solved.
