Daniela Cocco, MD

Dr. Daniela Cocco specializes in oncology with advanced training in surgical oncology, focusing on cancer diagnosis and treatment. She completed her medical education in Italy with an internship at Universita Di Cagliari in 2005, followed by residency training at Azienda Socio Sanitaria Territoriale degli Spedali Civili di Brescia in 2008. Dr. Cocco furthered her expertise through fellowship training at the same institution in 2009, then completed additional residency training at Creighton University School of Medicine through Valleywise Health Medical Center in 2020. She also completed fellowship training at Cleveland Clinic Education Foundation in 2021. Dr. Cocco is fluent in both English and Italian.

Dr. Cocco practices at Banner Gateway Medical Center and sees patients at Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center, a department of Banner Thunderbird Medical Center in Gilbert, Arizona. She treats various forms of breast cancer, including metastatic and recurrent cases, as well as Paget …disease of the breast. Her surgical expertise includes performing brain tumor biopsies and overseeing pathology tests and surgical pathology procedures to help diagnose and guide treatment decisions for her patients.
