Daniela Guimaraes, APN

Daniela Guimaraes, APN, is a highly experienced and compassionate nurse practitioner with over 20 years in critical care. She began her career after earning a BSN in Brazil and later completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) at Rutgers University.

Daniela launched her career in the Cardiothoracic ICU at the Heart Institute of the University of São Paulo. While pursuing her DNP, she worked full-time at Hackensack University Medical Center and went on to complete a competitive Critical Care Fellowship at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.

At Montclair Cardiology Group, Daniela draws on her extensive critical care background to manage complex cardiovascular patients across inpatient and outpatient settings. She is deeply committed to patient education, prevention, and evidence-based care, and is a strong advocate for patient-centered outcomes.
