Dr. Daniele L Bick, MD

I do remember her being overly interested in me. I think she gives out her cell number to most of her vulnerable clients. I wonder if they're all female. She also tries to get clients to schedule appointments for several times a week. I think she acts in her own self interest and should refer her clients to someone more professional. A wolf in a granny suit. Proceed with caution. Better yet, not at all.

I saw dr. Bick for around a year. I originally went to her for issues resulting from an injury. She soon had me realize my whole life was screwed up. She really did seem to care about me and I depended on her and made some major life changes. Then one day I went in for my appointment and she wasn't there. Same thing the next time. I was too upset to speak so I had my daughter call and then she was told she wouldn't see me any more because of an issue that I had with a hospital she is affiliated with. All my doctors are also affiliated with the same hospital and don't understand why she would do such a thing. I was completely devastated and felt totally abandoned. Wow....talk about validating my trust issues........

I have been seeing Dr. Bick for many years. For a time, I was seeing her twice a week and now I see her, maybe three or four times a year. There is absolutely NO language barrier in working with her. She was instrumental in diagnosing my anxiety and working with me to find a good prescription that transformed me back into the person I used to be. Aside from the prescription that has made such a difference in my daily life, she also has worked to get me through some very traumatic periods in my life such as the loss of my mother. She is gentle, friendly and almost maternal without crossing the very important therapist/patient line. She is straightforward and offers great insight that seems to focus me on the heart of the issues that arise to bother me. I can't understand the review I read on this site. I guess and hope that the first impression of an emotionally needy person in this instance is not at all reliable. I would hate to deprive a person in emotional need of Dr.… Bick's help. I have never been unable to see her when in need of an appointment. She gave me her cell phone number and has always encouraged me to use it. I can't imagine what more she could have done over these past few years to help me. Proof of her value is the fact that I see her infrequently now, always knowing that she is there if I should need her, but able to cope with my own life.

You will have a language barrier with Dr Bick. If you are a person in need of real help, I would suggest looking elsewhere. While at my first visit with Dr Bick, she said to me, "I don't take patients like you." Not a good thing to say to a patient. She is a doctor with NO bedside manner. She is stuck up, hard to understand with her language, very judgmental and hurtful. Please stay away from her as I truly care for all in distress and looking for help.
