Dr. Danielle C. Aguilar, known to many as Dr. D, is a dedicated sports performance therapist with a passion for helping athletes move, perform, and recover at their best. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science with a focus on Biomechanics and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy, both from the University of the Incarnate Word (UIW) in San Antonio, TX. Her advanced clinical training includes graduation from the Evidence in Motion Sports Residency Program.

Dr. D is a certified personal trainer through the National Council of Strength and Fitness. She maintains Emergency Medical Responder status with CPR/AED, Basic Life Support, and Emergency Oxygen certifications. Her specialized skills include Trigger Point Dry Needling and sport-performance training. She specializes in performing artist-athletes with continued sports including, but not limited to: boxing, basketball, track, softball/baseball and football.

Originally from the South …Texas coast near South Padre Island, Danielle is deeply rooted in faith and family. As a former collegiate basketball player at UIW in San Antonio, TX, she brings firsthand experience and enthusiasm to her work with athletes. Outside the clinic, she enjoys beachside relaxation with loved ones and stays active through functional fitness, recreational sports and strength training.
