Dr. Danielle Aufiero is a sports medicine and physiatry specialist who is primarily focused on reducing pain and restoring function for her patients. She specializes in regenerative treatment approaches, and is particularly interested in bone marrow stem cell therapy, platelet-rich plasma therapy, image-guided prolotherapy and fluoroscopic and ultrasound guided spine injections.

After graduating from St. Georges University School of Medicine, Dr. Aufiero completed her residency at Kessler Institute of Medicine and Dentistry. She then went on to finish a rigorous two-year spine program at the Robb Pain Management Group in Los Angeles, before working as a sports medicine and physiatry specialist in a variety of clinical settings, including orthopedic, pain management and physical therapy centers.

Dr. Aufiero is brilliant and equally compassionate. She is an angel to me. After dealing with a knee injury for 8 months and not getting any answers or helpful treatment, I left her office filled with hope and a definitive diagnosis and treatment plan.

I was 100% happy and satisfied with Dr. Aufiero. She took her time and was not rushed at all as she explained my condition in detail. She asked me a number of questions to help her fully understand what all was bothering me and once she had completely assessed my condition offered a number of possibilities that I could do. We had a teleconference and it lasted nearly an hour and I never felt once that she was trying to rush though anything with me. I wish all my other medical providers were as generous with their time and as caring and meticulous as she was during our meeting.
