Danielle Davis Decourcey, MD

Dr. Danielle DeCourcey is a board-certified pediatrician passionate about helping children and families live their healthiest lives. Originally from Rochester, NY, she received her medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY, and completed her pediatric residency at the University of Rochester/Golisano Children’s Hospital.

At MUSC, Dr. DeCourcey provides comprehensive care with a strong focus on both physical and mental health, while considering the social determinants that affect a child’s well-being. She partners closely with families to set individualized health goals and offers guidance, support, and evidence-based care every step of the way.

Her clinical interests include foster and adoptive medicine, common pediatric mental health concerns such as ADHD, anxiety, and depression, and the care of children who were previously in the NICU. She values being a consistent and trusted resource for families as they navigate the unique challenges of early childhood …and beyond.

Dr. DeCourcey is excited to be part of the MUSC team and is committed to serving the children and families of Charleston. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and exploring the outdoors.
