Dr. Danielle Grossman, MD

Dr. Danielle Grossman is a fellowship-trained minimally invasive, bariatric, and foregut surgeon specializing in advanced laparoscopic and robotic techniques for the management of obesity, gastroesophageal reflux disease, and abdominal wall hernias. She joins Robert Wood Johnson–Barnabas Health after completing an Advanced GI and Minimally Invasive Surgery Fellowship at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical College, where she also served as an Instructor in Surgery.
Dr. Grossman completed her General Surgery residency at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C., where she developed a strong interest in surgical innovation, trainee education, and wellness advocacy. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Central Florida College of Medicine and her Bachelor of Arts in Stem Cell and Regenerative Biology from Harvard University.
She is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and an active member of several professional …societies, including the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES), the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS), the American Foregut Society, and the American Hernia Society. Outside of the operating room, Dr. Grossman enjoys teaching, research, traveling, skiing, and spending time with family and friends.
