Danielle Lopez, MD

Dr. Danielle Lopez is a board-certified Adult Psychiatrist with a deep commitment to compassionate, evidence-based mental health care. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California in 2007 and went on to complete her psychiatry residency at the Los Angeles County and USC Medical Center in 2012. Currently based in the Los Angeles area, Dr. Lopez provides comprehensive psychiatric care via telemedicine, offering accessible support to patients across both Northern and Southern California.

Dr. Lopez has extensive experience working with high-risk and clinically complex populations, including individuals with severe mental illness, substance use disorders, and co-occurring conditions. Early in her career, she provided outreach through Full Service Partnership (FSP) programs and later specialized in inpatient psychiatry and rehabilitation. During this time, she honed her skills in managing complex medication regimens and handling …psychiatric emergencies. She believes in a collaborative and personalized care approach, combining evidence-based medication management with supportive and cognitive-behavioral therapies. Dr. Lopez empowers her patients through education, compassion, and practical tools for long-lasting wellness. She offers telepsychiatry services to adults across California, treating mood disorders, trauma, anxiety, ADHD, psychotic disorders, and substance use issues.
