Dr. Danielle Ramos Madril, MD

Dr. Madril joined Miami Children's Hospital's Congenital Heart Institute as a Pediatric Anesthesiologist in 2004. She is also a Clinical Professor in Anesthesia at the University of Miami School of Medicine.

Dr. Madril received her BA from Mercer University in 1988 and her MD from Wright State University in 1993. She completed her internship in anesthesia at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, in 1994. She then completed her residency training in anesthesia at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego, CA, in 1999; where she also served as chief resident. Dr. Madril completed her fellowship in Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia at the Children's Hospital Boston, in Boston, MA, in 2002.

Prior to joining Miami Children's Hospital, Dr. Madril served as a Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiologist at Boston Children's Hospital and an instructor in Aenesthesia at Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Madril has donated many hours of community service by performing humanitarian medical missions. …In the year 2000, she was a volunteer anesthesiologist for Project Interface in La Paz, Mexico, helping with Cleft Lip and Palate Repairs. In 2004, Dr. Madril provided anesthesiology services at Hamad Medical Center in Doha, Qatar, where a team of physicians performed pediatric congenital heart disease repairs.
