Dr. Danielle Marie Mehlenbacher, DO

I came to interview Dr. Mehlenbacher because I needed a new PCP after my former one retired. I never got to speak with her because - after some positive experiences with the receptionist and records nurse - I was accosted by the PA 'Kelly', who assured me that there was nothing they could do for me - including even discuss what I had come for - because they hadn't received my records. When I said that there was nothing I EXPECTED them to do for me except chat, so I could see if this were a practice I wanted to join, she simply reiterated her insistence that they needed all my records before I could be even talked to. Looking at what I had told the nurse about a lifelong mycoplasma infection, she insisted that I had 'latent TB', whatever that is (innumerable lung X-rays over the years have never revealed any such thing), and therefore must be in dire need of the treatment she was insistent that they wouldn't supply. I was bullied, not listened to, and given crackpot medical… information by this officious aide, and never got to give the DO a chance - because who would hang around with a practice that approved of all this in an introductory interview? It was awful; I'd never go back.

Dr Mehlenbacher became my PCP when Dr Shanley left. I usually do not go to a DO but my records were already in that office. I have found her to be thorough & has always made the correct call on my treatment. I do recommend her. She is friendly & outgoing.

Went to this office for over 30 years. Julie left, Dr. SHanley left and my choices were limited. Been on certain medications for years and she wanted to take me off them. Plus I had her seeing my mom who had alzheimers and her suggestions of non FDA approved medications that were NOT advised for alzheimers patients made me leave.

very nice woman at the first visit. 2nd visit was ok.......(acted like she had somehwhere to be)... 3d visit crazy!!!!! Came in the room acting snarky, as if "oh your sick again". Diagnosed me with something I DID NOT HAVE! sickening!

Very rude and disrespectful doctor.
