Dr. Danielle Renee Periago

Dr. Danielle Periago has long been a part of the Southern Indiana community. Dr. Periago grew up in New Albany, where she graduated from New Albany High School in 1996. She then moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma where she received her BA degree in Spanish Literature with an emphasis in Pre-Dental studies from Oral Roberts University. After graduation, Dr. Periago relocated back to Louisville, KY where she attended dental school at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. In 2005, Dr. Periago graduated from dental school Summa Cum Laude and was subsequently accepted into the orthodontic residency program at the University of Louisville, where she completed a two-year graduate degree specializing in orthodontics and facial orthopedics. Upon completion of her orthodontic residency, Dr. Periago also received her master's degree in Oral Biology with her research emphasis on three dimensional cone beam radiography in orthodontics. Dr. Periago's research was recently accepted for publication …and can be found in The Angle Orthodontist journal of orthodontics.
While attending the University of Louisville School of Dentistry, Dr. Periago was recognized with various awards such as the American Academy of Oral Medicine Award, the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology Award, the Excellence in General Pathology Award, and a scholarship for her National Dental Boards Part I score. Dr. Periago was also a Dean's scholar throughout her dental training and was inducted into the Delphi Society as well as the Omikron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society.
Dr. Periago's most rewarding job is being a wife and mommy. Dr. Periago and her husband Juan reside in New Albany with their beautiful children. They enjoy traveling, bicycling, gardening, cooking, watching movies, and most importantly spending time together as a family.
Dr. Periago is proud to be a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, as well as a member of the American Association of Orthodontics. Dr. Periago is also a member of the American Dental Association and the Indiana Dental Association.
Dr. Periago is committed to delivering the highest standards of orthodontic care in a warm, friendly, and service oriented environment. Desiring to continuously be the best she can be, Dr. Periago invests in the best technology available for her patients' diagnosis and treatment. With computers at each dental chair, digital radiographs, and photographic imaging, Dr. Periago is in constant communication with the treatment and progress of her patients. It is her number one priority to treat each and every person who enters the office in the manner in which she would like to be treated herself. As a mother, Dr. Periago wants the best care for her children and she knows that the parents of her patients feel the same way.
