Dr. Danny Eisenberg, MD

Dr. Eisenberg is the Glaucoma Specialist for The Shepherd Eye Center. His practice is entirely devoted to the treatment of patients with glaucoma. Under his direction, The Shepherd Eye Center is able to provide advanced diagnostic testing and treatment for all types of glaucoma. Dr. Eisenberg earned his bachelor degree and medical degree from Boston University. He completed three glaucoma research fellowships and his Ophthalmology residency at the New England Eye Center, Tufts University in Boston. He received advanced training with a specialized fellowship in glaucoma diagnosis, treatment and glaucoma surgery at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. Dr. Eisenberg has published over two dozen articles and abstracts relating to glaucoma and is actively involved in glaucoma research. He is a member of the Association for Research and Vision in Ophthalmology, The American Academy of Ophthalmology, The American Society for Cataract and Refractive Surgery and the …American Glaucoma Society. Dr. Eisenberg is Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
