Dr. Danny Patrick Kaup, MD

Went to er... he is terrible, thought that I may have pneumonia but I have a lung disease, he prescribed an antibiotic... not knowing if I had pneumonia or not. Extreme bad bedside manor, doesn’t seem to care what the patient has to say. Never will I go back to the emergency on Willowcreek again.

Went to Urgent Care for upper respiratory infection that was going on day #6 and only getting... became sick after staying in a Texas hotel for a week, breathing in the A/C. Definitely sinusitis & laryngitis, but worried it might also be bronchitis or worse since I've had pneumonia before. Kaup came in, asked me what I thought was wrong, listened to my breathing, looked at my throat, never looked in my nasal passage, then proceeded to tell me "statistics show laryngitis is most likely the result of a viral infection...". Seriously? I could have gotten the same info from Google! Diagnosed me with sinusitis (how did he know that if he never looked at my nasal passages or checked sinuses?!?!), laryngitis & bronchitis. When I tried asking questions, he became very figity & appeared uncomfortable like he had a plane to catch & I was wasting his time....strange considering I was the only patient there! If this is the kind of doctor Porter urgent care has to offer, I won't ever go… back! Felt like I could have save $ & time by diagnosing myself!

Saw Dr. in urgent care. No bedside manner whatsoever. Unable to make a diagnosis. Didn't seem to really care what was wrong with me at all. Back to square one.

I was very disappointed with my visit. I went into Urgent Care. When he came in he never introduced himself. He was in there for maybe a total 15 seconds. He never sat down, just stood by the door. I told him where I hurt and never examined me. He just ordered an X-Ray. I already knew that an X-Ray wouldn't show anything because it wasn't broken bone. He came back into the room after the X-Ray. Again was maybe in there for 15 seconds and informed me that the X-Ray showed no broken bones and then sent me on my way. You would have thought that he would have atleast looked at where I was complaining about. He had no bedside manner and didn't seem to know much... I don't think I would ever go back to that Urgent Care or at least wait until a Doctor who knows what they are talking about it there.

Outstanding doctor, my appointments never feel rushed, very caring individual.

Dr. Kaup is an excellent and caring doctor.
