Dr. Danuta Blicharski, MD

A love of children led Dr. Blicharski to her decision to become a pediatrician. After 20 years in private pediatric practice in Houston, Dr. Blicharski now serves as a pediatric hospitalist and the director of pediatric training at the Memorial Family Practice Residency Program in Houston. Of the many conditions Dr. Blicharski treats, she has a special clinical interest in ADHD and pediatric hematology. Because Dr. Blicharski values the innocence of children, she approaches them in a caring way so that they dont feel threatened and talks to them in terms they understand. An empathetic listener, Dr. Blicharski assures both her pediatric patients and their parents that her goal is to help in any way she can. She knows the hospital experience can be very stressful for children and their parents and strives to minimize the impact and ensure the children leave healthier, both physically and emotionally. In her spare time, Dr. Blicharski enjoys traveling with her husband.
