Dr. Dao Minh Nguyen, MD

I went to Dr. Nguyen for a second opinion, and I ended up having a very delicate surgery with him. My case was considered very complex, and surgery lasted almost 9 hours. The surgery was a total success and I owe him my life. He removed the upper lobe of my right lung in order to completely remove a cancerous tumor. He took samples from many compromised nodules, among other things. I have to say that his communication skills are amazing, and he is a very knowledgeable-nice doctor you want to have around in situations like this.

For those unfortunate enough to have suffered metastatic lung cancer, Dr. Nguyen is a man of miracles. He is extremely caring, professional, and thorough in his work and has a humble personality. Having been diagnosed with small cell lung cancer, I was under his care for several days. He would come and see how I was doing during the weekends and even twice during the day occasionally. He has high standards of providing the optimum patient care and strives to improve the quality of life of his patients. Above all, he takes the time to sit down and talk to you regarding the surgery and prognosis of disease unlike any other physician I have ever met. He also treats everyone from nurses to residents with respect. A true professor of his profession.

Incredible doctor and perhaps the most empathetic

A very empathetic and knowledgeable surgeon. He successfully treated me for lung cancer. The CT scan showed three tumors and he actually removed ten tumors from the right lung. He has a wry sense of humor--a good man!
