I would give zero stars if I could. Worst health decision I made was going to this “doctor.” I had unexplained high blood pressure and debilitating anxiety that came out of no where. She chalked it up to postpartum issues after my second child was born. I knew something was not right. Instead she dismissed all my concerns, would gaslight me and told me to see a psychiatrist. During one appt my blood pressure was 220/110 and she just sent me home. After a few years my symptoms continued to get worse and I went from a very healthy young woman with no medical history to unexplained weight gain, shaky hands, diabetes, uncontrolled high blood pressure, hypertensive retinopathy and the list goes on. Dr. Madden ended up leaving the practice so I started seeing other doctors. It was discovered I had a baseball size tumor growing on my adrenal gland. I left Banner immediately due to the negligence that stemmed from Dr. Madden. Three weeks later I was having a 7 hour surgery to remove the tumor… (pheochromocytoma), spent two weeks in the hospital (1 week in ICU). Once the tumor was removed my blood pressure went back to normal, my anxiety went away and I am in fact not diabetic. Every symptom I had and reported for 5 years pointed back to the adrenal glands. I almost lost my life because Dr. Madden did absolutely nothing every time I went in pleading for help and telling her something was wrong. This tumor grew for 5 years under her care and not once did she conduct and medical tests other than the standard blood test and try to push antidepressants on me. What a sorry excuse for a medical provider.

I've been seeing Dr. MADDEN since 2016 when I moved from Denver. I totally feel cared for and any question or issue I have, I feel listened to. I'M 71 and I mention that because I've been to many doctors in my lifetime. She's one of the best.

I accompanied my 25 year old daughter to an appointment today. The appointment was a follow up to an Urgent Care visit for an extreme dehabiltating anxiety attack. At the appointment, my daughter told this physician the history of her anxiety, the medications and therapy she had tried. She also informed her that she had turned to marijuana to treat the symptoms. Dr Madden stated that she was a primary care physician that had to mop up the mess of those treatments. YES “”Mop up the mess, Her exact words! I am just so disappointed I put my daughter thru this experience. When someone is having a mental health crisis the physician needs to have more compassion and when the patient tells you she will find her own psychiatrist at least offer to put a referral in her chart. Also perhaps ask if she has a marijuana addiction and offer treatment alternatives. A physician should never feel comfortable sending the patient away feeling more hopeless than they arrived. Seems to me that the… physician should have that responsibility. If your beliefs don’t allign have the integrity to walk away dismiss the patient but at least refer them to a resource and not refer to them as a “mess that needs mopped up”.

Dr. was rude and inapproiate for a mistake she made and tried to blame it on ever one else but her. She put my life in harms war, and I wouldn't trust her because she lies.

Awful doctor, felt like I had wasted a copay. She didn't look at my chart or she said she did and that there was very little info in it which was not true since I had been going to the same doctors office for over 8 years. Did nothing for me and tried to push her beliefs on me. Why is she even practice if she doesn't listen to the patient? Next time I will wait the extra week to see my regular doctor. I see now why she had openings. Would not recommend her to anybody. Left with no resolve to my initial issue.

I have ahd Dr. Madden as my family doc for about 6years. I followed her from Johnstown to greeley and don't know what I would do with out her. The staff at NCFM is gredat always so nice and all smiles. Would rec. this Dr. to anyone.
