Dr. Daphnie Mercado, DDS

When I first met Dr. Mercado I really liked her. She told me I had a lot of cavities because of medications I was taking and I spent a ton of money repairing them. After that, some of them had to be re-done (by her) because they were not done correctly (again, by her). Since that time, I have had nothing but problems. I have basically gotten cavities under every single filling she did. Pieces of the fillings have fallen out. Now, I have to have a tooth extracted because the filling was done incorrectly and it left a space that was uncovered/unprotected. Dr. Mercado has cost me hundreds of dollars and will now cost me literally thousands of dollars to manage the ongoing issues I have as a result of her work. She would also make recommendations (like using an electric toothbrush) and then challenge me about why I was doing what she had told me to do in the beginning. She also gives patients a hard time if they don't do exactly what she says/recommends (like excessive numbers of x-rays).… She comes across as extremely nice, and I really wish this hadn't all happened. I truly regret EVER working with or trusting her.
