I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with Dara.From the very first appointment, I felt truly listened to and supported. Unlike many providers who rush through visits, she took the time to understand not only my symptoms but also my personal history, lifestyle, and goals for treatment. What stood out most was her ability to combine clinical expertise with genuine compassion. Every session feels collaborative my concerns are validated, and my treatment plan is explained in clear, understandable terms. Dara presents different options, answers every question patiently, and makes sure I feel comfortable with each step we take. I also appreciate how proactive she is in monitoring progress. Whether it’s adjusting medications, suggesting therapy resources, or checking in about side effects, I never feel alone in my mental health journey. Because of Dara, I’ve experienced real improvement in both my mood and daily functioning. I feel empowered, hopeful, and cared for. It’s… rare to find a provider who is both highly skilled and so compassionate. I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone seeking psychiatric care.

Dara Castillo has really changed my perspective about these types of appointments. I use to struggle a lot with getting comfortable with my therapist, went through quite a few before finding Dara. She has a way of making you feel heard and seen with an incredible amount of patience. Also Dara has no problem explaining things in human terms more than once if you don’t understand.

It has taken me sometime to really find someone that really cares about patients and not just trying to push on medication. I feel like it’s hard to find good psychiatric care but Dara really puts the patient care above all excels in this area. She takes time to listen and provide a safe space to be open. I feel like she really tries to understand what is needed instead of just prescribing medication and pushing her beliefs on to her patients. She is patient centered and really cares for her patients well being. I not only feel confident in her abilities but I feel she provides a safe place for everyone to really heal and overcome any their challenges.

Dara is an excellent provider, one of the best. She really takes the time to listen to you as a patient and makes your mental health her #1 priority. She has excellent listening skills and takes everything into account before working on a treatment plan with you. I definitely recommend her she is very good at what she does and her approach to treatment is exceptional.
