Dr. Darel David Moss, DDS

Dr. Darel Moss has been practicing dentistry in the city of Brookline since 1979. That is over 35 years of customer service, experience and excellent dental care in this community. His lengthy and distinguished education began at the State University of NY at Albany for his undergraduate studies where he became a Regent Scholar Holder. He then attended the prestigious State University of NY at Stonybrook School of Dentistry where he was one of 24 students accepted out of 1453 applicants. He was chosen by his peers as the Class President for not only his Senior year, but his Junior year as well. After his graduation from dental school he entered into the General Practice Residency Program for 1977-78.
Furthering his expertise in all facets of dentistry Dr. Moss spent the next five years as an apprentice to Dr. M. Michael Cohen, Professor Emeritus at both Harvard and Tufts concentrating on removable and fixed orthodontic therapies. This training culminated spending the years 1984-86 in …the United States Orthodontic training program.
Dr. Moss prides himself on the depth of his continuing education over his many years. He has taken numerous course on implant dentistry and cosmetic dentistry annually at the Yankee Dental Conference. He has advanced courses and spent many hours of observation at the renowned Bicon Dental Institute. He is also currently an American Dental Association member.

 Lastly, Dr. Moss is also a tireless volunteer in the Brookline community. Serving for the last 8 years as the President of the Brookline - Jamaica Plain Patriots Pop Warner Program which is currently recognized as the most succesful program in Massachusetts. Having three boys of his own, involvement in the youth sports community has always been a labor of love, much like his dentistry.
