Dr. Darian Kaar

Doctor Karr is unprofessional. He was rude to me and his staff on more than one occasions. He was supposed to lead and coach everyone in harmony to accomplish the common goal. Yet he was always quiet and suddenly busted out frustration upon patient or staff. He yelled at me at one time when I grind my new crown because he was bad at giving Instructions. No communication skill at all. I have children with PhD and PA myself but I taught them to be humble and respectful. It took 13 months to get my implant done. I paid full in cash on day one. They refused to file insurance claim or help me with any paperwork. Some of the front desk girls are rude too. You don't know any names including doctors. They are afraid too give out their names for a reason. I am glad it was over after 13 months of agony. There are many good dentists but you need a friendly doctor with empathy, not a military officer.

I don't even know where to begin. If I could give ZERO stars, I would. My husband was scheduled to get "All on 4's". At first everyone seemed so professional and kind. As soon as they received payment it all went downhill. From rescheduled appointments to unanswered phone calls and nobody giving us straight answers. Once my husband reluctantly went to start the procedure, everything became a nightmare. My father-in-law took him to his appointment which was never completed. My husband was woken from anesthesia after about 45 minutes with the excuse that he would not remain asleep (he has never had issues with anesthesia before, and remembers NOTHING from this day). He was sent home with NO post op instructions and his father wasn't even aware that they had placed stitches in his mouth. Neither of them knew why he was being sent home. My husband wasn't fully conscious until 10PM that night (approximately 7 hours after the anesthesia). The next day, while in incredible pain, he and I… tried calling the office to get answers about what happened and what the plan was. We were hung up on twice and then our calls were being ignored and we still had no information. After a few days and MANY phone calls and emails they finally agreed to issue a refund which was not a quick or easy process on their part. At this point we just wanted to be done with the place. Needless to say, my husband is not allowed to leave a review about his negative experience. We still have no idea what exactly happened at the appointment, but thank God they didn't go through with the whole procedure. I can't imagine how much worse this would all be had they actually done anything. PLEASE read the 1 STAR reviews and DO NOT GO HERE!

Dr. Kaar and Advanced Dentistry should be performing dentistry in a back alley somewhere. This guy should NOT be dealing with patients or people at all with his lack of professionalism and skill. How on earth he has even 4.0 stars is beyond me. Dr. Kaar does not care about you or you being happy with the results. He will not listen to your concerns and whatever CRAP he builds for you is what you are stuck with. Be careful with front tooth implants because his work is not esthetically pleasing but he makes you sign something that forces you into keeping his crap work. Trust me, look at the most recent reviews. He is awful and so is his dentist office and skills. Keep searching for a dentist.

This is the worst experience I have ever had with a dentistry. I had appointment with the facility on for three-unit dental bridge. Initially I had a temporary bridge. Broke my 2 teeth when I visit the facility for permanent bridge. Dr Olga was ready to give me root canal on the same day but I refused to have it as I wanted to find out various options. I asked Dr Olga for free treatment and compensation for breaking teeth. She said I will discuss with Dr Darian Karr. Instead of compensation and treatment options, I got a letter after one week from Dr Karr’s Office on refund settlement and release. The letter clearly states we refund your money and you agree not to institute, prosecute, pursue any action against Advanced Dentistry and refrain from any disparagement, defamation, libel or slander of Advanced Dentistry and forever release the dentistry. I was flabbergasted by reading the letter as I was looking for treatment options. Instead of giving treatment options, doctor office… decided to refund without further obligations. I felt that is gross negligence and unethical practice on doctor's part as Dr Office did not even care to discuss with me before sending the letter. I just got a call from Finance Department that we have emailed you refund settlement and release letter. Please sign and send it back to us. I didn't sign the letter. I visited the facility a couple of more times to discuss treatment options but I was not satisfied the way Dr Karr handled the matter so finally I gave up and decided to go to another dentist to discuss treatment options.

I started the process of full mouth restoration 29july2019 to which I paid 36k up front. I have spent hours upon hours having the temporary prosthesis repaired from breakage from becoming loose fitting I have complained about talking funny after the Temps have been put into place. I was put through an excruciating painful experience of a fitting. I was blamed for the issues. And with supposedly only 2 visits left 3 months ago received a call stating that they need more time and I was not given an ETA for my next appointment. I have received subpar work for my money and am no better today than when I started this process. I am extremely disappointed and simply just defeated.
