My only complaint is the MRI they did did not show a significant tear in my rotator cuff so he was reluctant to operate. I KNEW it was torn, and after the surgery he told me there was a large tear, which he repaired along with debridement and removal of a bone spur. Overall a very positive experience. But MRI's do not tell the whole story!! Listen to your body.

I was 63 years old in Oct '07. I completely fractured my left ankle in Havasu canyon and was flown to Flagstaff medical center. Dr Darius Moezzi was on call and he did my surgery the following morning. I have a six inch plate and two pins but I just hiked 35 miles in the Sierra Nevada on solid granite for five days in Oct. I am 27 years old. I figure skated for 10 years as youth. I have had 8 ACL replacements in a span of 10 years (7 of them in a 5 year span) After being denied medical care (post two concurrent ACL replacements and major meniscus shaves and repairs) at the Summit Center (Dr. Lewinsky Sr.) due to APIPA state coverage... I transferred to Dr. Moezzi. He provided personal INFORMED options, an incredibly genuine bedside manner & support, and an amazingly responsive staff, especially Diana... I owe my current quality of life and mobility to Dr. Moezzi. Sincerely.
