Dr. Darius Peikari, MD

Long wait time. Listens then refers you to other doctors for treatment. Seems totally fearful of prescribing a pain med no matter how severe the pain. I don’t have confidence in him. Is socially awkward. Very intelligent but should be a research doctor rather than seeing patients.

Skilled, professional, compassionate, great listening skills, good diagnostician, takes the time needed to hear what's going on. I truly appreciate the fact that he does not mind a collaboration between patient and physician for my care. The office staff is polite and caring. I am so grateful!

I went to Dr. Peikari yesterday and was very surprised at the time and care he took with a 72 year old patient just coming for a second opinion on a CAT scan. Though I talked probably way too much. he was patient and resolved some issues that could be helped with maintenance. He discussed the CAT scan and referred me to a cardiologist to look at some calcification issues as well as blood work. Thank God for this physician. Being a retired physician I could say that Dr Peikari is the best Internist that I had, as a Doctor I know when somebody is a good doctor. The staff at his office is wonderful.

Takes time with you

Finally a doctor that can see me when I am sick and put up with me bringing in my list of problems. He doesn't roll his eyes or seem like he is in a hurry. He is very smart when he answers my questions.
