Dr. Darlene Kay Blanchard, MD

I developed an breast infection after a masdectomy infection and she wouldn't come to hospital for over a week. Finally, she said "they called me but I don't know why". I said you were my surgeon and I thought you needed to know my situation. She glared at me and said my cancer was gone and left. Never checked on me again and I was in and out of hospital for six months. I will never go to her again.

I have recently needed a number of medical tests. When I told Dr. Blanchard I was feeling stressed with my own situation as well as the present medical situation we are all experiencing, she ordered my testing to be done quickly and reported the results to me personally and promptly --within hours. I have found her to be very knowledgeable, caring, and professional. Thank you, Dr. Blanchard!

Her personality was nice at first but day of surgery, she wouldn't take the time to answer my questions. She stared at me as if she didn't know who I was and walked away. My husband stopped her and asked her a question and she walked away without speaking a word. Terrible bedside manner, cold and uncaring. Get a 2nd opinion

Dr. Blanchard is excellent, very compassionate and knowledgeable. She spent a alot of time answering my questions and explaining the procedure. I would highly recommend her!
