YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF! 10 years after the root canal i never needed and now I have to have more work done on the same tooth. Dr Melton you have ruined my life. I hope you aren't practicing anymore. look at all your bad reviews. what a pathetic excuse for a doctor.

Performed a root canal I did not need. I went here for an evaluation and she was immediately ready to perform a root canal. I was very nervous and visibly upset. She CONVINCED me that I needed one and that it should not be put off. I returned several times afterwards with the same symptoms and she kept telling me that everything looked fine. Brought my records over to another local endodontist who looked them over and asked me questions about my symptoms. I was told my xrays and symptoms BEFORE the root canal were NOT THOSE THAT WOULD REQUIRE A ROOT CANAL. I have Trigeminal Neuralgia. I now have a dead tooth in the front of my mouth and I have to alter how I eat for the rest of my life. This DR failed me and has caused me significant pain and suffering. STAY AWAY

Almost a year after root canal and it still bothers me everyday. I went back weeks after the root canal telling her I had pain. She pushed around the tooth - didn't take an x ray and said everything was fine. Months later I still can't bite into anything hard and have had to completely alter the way I eat. I wish I would have gone to a more experienced DR. In my mid 20's and I have to cut up all my food like an elderly person.
