Dr. Darlene Denise Sampson, MD

My wife and I went for a moles screening. She suffers from alopecia totalis. She doesn’t have any hair and needs to wear a wig. “ dr” Sampsons told her she didn’t believe it and asked to remove the wig causing so much emotional distress and disrespecting her. We never experienced something like that in our whole life. The most incompetent and unprofessional person ever dealt with. Just disgusting. Stay away and don’t give any money to this miserable individual.

I took my 13 year old in to see Dr. Sampson and she was awesome. She had great bedside manner and was very knowledgeable. Thank you for your service.

Saw Dr Sampson to discuss my hair loss. Waited months for appt. She seemed annoyed that I was even there & dismissed my issue as normal genetics immediately without even looking (I'm a late 30s woman with no family history) & was extremely short with me. I had to practically beg for recs on what I could do & when I asked for specifics (ex: she said increase protein but couldn't tell me what my goal daily gram intake should be) she said she couldn't really say. Really demoralizing experience.

Very litttle bedside manner or explanation of what she found or its significance. Competent but not pleasant. She gave me a $200 off card for a steroid ointment but even after another $200 discount from the insurance company the final cost was more the $300 for a tube of steroid for a minor problem. Be sure to ask for generics.
