Darnetta L Yusko, CRNP

Darnetta Yusko is a certified registered nurse practitioner who provides patient-centered care for women with high-risk pregnancies. Specializing in maternal-fetal medicine, Ms. Yusko helps expectant mothers manage a variety of pregnancy-related conditions like gestational diabetes. She is also an internationally board-certified lactation consultant. In this role, she provides breastfeeding support and education to parents, families and members of the community. Ms. Yusko is knowledgeable about breastfeeding topics including lactation positioning, latching, low milk supply and milk storage.Originally from northeastern Pennsylvania, Ms. Yusko says her favorite part of her job is empowering women in her community. "I love helping our high-risk pregnancy patients understand how we're managing their care and how they can play an active role in it," she says.She is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists as well as the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine.In her …spare time, Ms. Yusko enjoys exercising, photography and spending time with her family and dogs.
