If you have the option to travel for your Endodontic needs, I highly recommend finding someone else. Dr. Daugherty does not have good bed-side manners and most dentists in the Stillwater, OK area have said so themselves. Unfortunately, Dr. Daugherty is still their referral due to convenience of location. His professional advise is worst case scenario without giving the proper education to his patients that would allow for them to make an informed decision as to proceed with treatment or not. Lastly, if you decide to continue with scheduling an appointment then it will be on their schedule with no room for flexibility as to when would work best for you. Make the trip to Tulsa or OKC to see someone more professional that will put their patients before themselves.

If they say they accept your insurance, get it in writing! If they say your portion will be $xxx, get it in writing!!! When we first met with them, they said that they did accept our insurance and our portion would only be $350, which I paid in good faith trusting their word. Two weeks later, I get a bill for over $1,000 because the insurance denied the claim. I called my insurance company and found out that they were 'not in our network" and that was about all I could get out of them. So, I called Stillwater Endodontics to see if they would be willing to work with me since they stated that our portion was only going to be $350. NOPE! They stated that I should have looked into the insurance for myself, and they were not willing to reduce the amount and not willing to accept any payments lower than $100 a month, which I currently can't afford. If they would have told me our portion might be anywhere from $350 to $1,400 depending on if our insurance covered it from the start, I would… have looked at other options. But they didn't and obviously won't until you owe them. So, please, do yourself a favor and make sure you get everything in writing from them with an absolute final total of your portion -not estimate- and have them sign it before these swindlers even charge you one penny.

Friendly, professional staff. Pain-free root canal. Dr. Daugherty is a highly skilled practitioner. Highly recommend.

Dr. Daugherty and his staff were amazing. It's never fun to have a root canal, but my experience was wonderful. Dr. Daugherty was so gentle and I didn't feel anything. His friendly staff was so knowledgeable about the procedure, insurance and payment. I really appreciated their professionalism. Thank you for treating me like family.

I went expecting to have a root canal and found out I didn't need one. I was happy that Dr. Daugherty did his own exam and didn't take my dentist's recommendation.
