Dr. Sims then earned a Oral and Maxillofacial Fellowship at Baylor University Medical Center in August 1987.

Thus, he maintains memberships in many prestigious professional organizations to keep up-to-date on the …latest techniques and technology. He is currently a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Arizona Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Phoenix Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Association, Arizona Dental Association, Central Arizona Dental Association and American Cleft Palate Association.
